Boiled water
Boiling water can kill bacteria boiled at least 20 minutes but there is still a lot of debris left in the water such as dead bacteria cells. It can kill off cryptosporidium and other bugs but boiling the water can actually release toxins into the water. By drinking boiled water one may avoid live disease germs, but still takes on bacterial soil for growth of other bacteria.
Rain water
Rain water, which has been distilled by the heat of the sun, should contain no mineral matter and no germs. But when it falls from the clouds as rain, it falls through air filled with bacteria, dust, smoke, chemicals, mud and minerals. By the time it reaches the earth as rain water it is so saturated with decaying matter, dirt, and chemicals that its colour becomes a yellowish-white.
Filtered water
Filtered water is water which has passed through a very fine strainer, activated carbon or some other mechanical barrier. Some people think that filtered water is purified. They believe that the filter keeps the waste substances and disease germs of the water in the filter. While it is true that chlorine, some suspended substances and many synthetic chemicals are removed in the filter by filtering, there is no filter made which can prevent bacteria or viruses from passing through its fine meshes. Each pore of the finest filter is large enough for millions of germs to pass through, even those containing silver! Moreover, decaying matter collects on the bottom of every filter. This forms an excellent breeding ground for bacteria. After a filter has been used for a few days, the filtered water often contains more disease germs than the water which is put into the filter. Bacteria are multiplied by the millions by the collected wastes at the base of some filters, wand washed through with filtered water, according to Dr. Brown Landone. In addition, filters do not add minerals that your body needs. If these minerals aren't found in the water, you are missing out.
Spring water
Spring water may be clean but most have very little mineral content and are mostly acidic. Drinking acidic water and eating acidic foods
merely makes your body more acidic and prone to illness. Compare the levels of bicarbonate, calcium and silica in our water with any other. These are minerals our body needs and most spring waters have very little.
Alkaline water
Alkaline water is the most effective water in assisting the detox process by eliminating acidic waste from the body. It does not contain bacteria that may be found in tap water or rain water and does contain high mineral content essential to the body that is not found in the same amounts as spring water or filtered water.
The best water you can find is alkaline water from a natural source that also contains high amounts of minerals that benefit your health.
